During her time on campus, Yashu held various roles in Engineering Council and Engineering Student Alumni Ambassadors (ESAA). She was also a tutor for the Center for Academic Resources in Engineering (CARE) while minoring in Business Administration.
Working as an analyst with W.W. Grainger upon graduation, Yashu had the opportunity to support Fortune 500 companies in various industries including Healthcare Services, Payments and FinTech, Consumer Markets, and Industrial Products.
Currently, she is working as a Senior Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, a global company offering professional services including audits and assurance, tax and consulting; covering areas such as cybersecurity, privacy and forensics.
Yashu noted that while at Illinois she acquired communications skills, a strong work ethic, along with organizational and analytical skills which help her with her current job. In her free time, Yashu is an avid chai consumer and a hot yoga enthusiast. She is currently working though her goal of 19 books in 2019.
