I am excited to be a WIE Ambassador because I think it is important for more women to be involved in the STEM field. I hope to inspire and help guide female students as they are applying to college, choosing a school, and beginning their undergraduate degree. My favorite activity that I have been involved with on campus is the rock climbing club. I love the outdoors and how climbing challenges me physically and mentally. It is a great stress reliever, and I have made some great friends because of it! In five years, I hope to be earning my Master’s Degree in International Relations. I want to travel around the world and have projects in developing countries, so an International Relations Master’s Degree would be a great addition to my engineering education.
