Megan Shapland

I aspire to develop different technologies with analog signal processing. Before beginning my studies at The Grainger College of Engineering, I was curious about wireless communications and the technology that runs our world. Now, being in Electrical Engineering, I get to study it! The reasons why I chose Illinois over other Universities was the beautiful campus and the immense opportunities I would have access to both inside my major and outside of it including the COZAD Entrepreneur Competition. Outside of class, you can find me working with the Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering (WECE) student group, hanging out with friends, playing Tetris, and watching action movies.
