Hi! My name is Parima and I am going to be a junior in Engineering Physics with a concentration in Computational Physics. I am also planning on minoring in Art & Design. On campus I am involved in SWE and Alpha Phi Omega. In my free time I like to rollerblade, run, read, and play games with my friends. I’m so excited to meet all of you!!
Mina Mazeikis
Hi, my name is Mina and I am going to be a senior in engineering physics. This summer, I will be researching cosmic rays and their interaction with an electromagnetic calorimeter at the UIUC Nuclear Physics Lab. In my free time I like to attend the UIUC gymnastics club, play minecraft with my younger siblings, and play music in my punk band! I love the UIUC campus and all it has to offer, and I am really excited to share that with you guys!
Gillian Patterson
Hi! My name is Gillian Patterson, and I am going to be a junior in Engineering Physics with a minor in Atmospheric Science. I went to WIE Orientation my freshman year and not only did I have fun, I got to meet other women in engineering who became my classmates and friends. On campus, I go to some SWE meetings and socials (a friend and I even won a ramen Iron chef competition!) and have volunteered with PhysicsVan. I have also been on a few student panels. In my free time, I like to sing, play board games, do puzzles, and hangout with family and friends. I’m looking forward to meeting you all in August!
