Jamie Milota

I am a junior majoring in engineering physics and minoring in electrical engineering and math. I always wanted to be an engineer for as long as I remember, but it was in my physics classes back in high school where I realized physics was for me. The engineering physics program here combines both the fun of physics and my engineering interests. I didn’t have a female mentor in STEM growing up, but once I applied here, WIE quickly became a resource where I would look for growth and support in STEM. Because of WIE, I was able to get an internship at an amazing company doing what I love. I am involved with research learning some really cool things about semiconducting devices and nanosphere lithography (you can find me in the big orange room in the ECEB). My experiences here have fostered my intellectual curiosity and helped me grow as a student and person.
