Within the first few days of arriving to Illinois, all of the Grainger engineering students were brought into Krannert and a speaker said, “Look to your left and look to your right. These are the people that are going to help you change the world”. Illinois fosters community, collaboration, and success as a whole unified student body, and that was my biggest reason for choosing The Grainger College of Engineering. I hope to change the world through the field of medicine or bioengineering either as a doctor or as a biomedical engineer. In my free time I love volunteering with my sorority and attending Illinois sporting events. My favorite Illini sports are volleyball, basketball, football, and hockey!
