Siobhan Fox

After graduating Siobhan went on to become an engineer in AT&T’s Technology Development Program in Washington.

During her time at Illinois, she shared the following:

I chose Systems Engineering Design because it allowed me the flexibility to learn about various engineering disciplines and how I can apply optimization methodologies in different situations. I chose the Grainger College of Engineering because when I visited campus as a high school student, I saw how students were valued, encouraged to develop holistically and were supported on campus. Thus far, my favorite thing that I have done is to study abroad in Madrid, Spain during my sophomore year. After this experience, I set a goal to visit all 6 habitable continents before graduation because I had so much fun, and I now only have 2 more left! In my free time, I am currently training for the Illinois Marathon with a friend I made during WIE Freshman Orientation, Elise.
