Women in Engineering invites admitted first-year students to learn more about what it’s like to be a Grainger Engineering student and to talk directly with current students about their experience at Illinois. To maximum the number of admitted student participates, please note 1 guest per student allowed to attend the lunch.

Society of Women in Engineering “Little Sisters Weekend”
Little Sisters’ Weekend is an overnight campus visit program for admitted high school girls in engineering. “Little Sisters” will be paired up with current undergraduate girls in engineering (“Big Sisters”), and they’ll get the opportunity to have a first-hand experience of student life on campus. This is a free university and corporate sponsored event. Meals will be provided and little sisters will sleepover in an hotel. Activities include campus tours, talk with a representative of Caterpillar, meet other organizations on campus, and meet SWEsters! (Society of Women in Engineering (SWE) members).
*This event is for admitted students only, no guest to allow maximum capacity for students.
Day: Friday – Saturday (overnight visit)
Dates: March 24 – 25
Time: 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Women in Mechanical Science & Engineering Admitted Student Day
Women in Mechanical Science & Engineering (MechSE) invites admitted first-year students to learn about life as a Grainger Engineering student in Mechanical Engineering & Engineering Mechanics. We will have a welcome presentation, a Q&A panel of current women in MechSE students, a tour of UIUC’s mechanical engineering facilities!

Computer Science Admitted Women’s Day
A daylong event for admitted computer science (CS) or CS +X women to find out why CS at Illinois is the right fit for them. Hear from current students, faculty, and a mini lesson from one of our favorite professors.
