I never thought I would pursue computer science. It wasn’t until I got my first taste of it that I realized how much I enjoy CS–it is like solving puzzles for real-world problems! Knowing that I can have an impact on the world in whatever job I pursue is so important to me, and technology is changing the world. Outside of class, I enjoy leading our Girls Who Code club which is hosted by the Department of Computer Science. This organization helped me immensely by giving me a network of women to connect with, so I am thrilled to now be leading the club and have the opportunity to give back. In my free time, I am an avid Netflix watcher and have watched Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings probably a 1000 times!
