I am excited to be a WIE Ambassador because I love speaking with high school women about engineering, specifically my major of chemical engineering, and the supportive resources that I have found on campus socially, professionally, and academically. On campus, I’m involved with She’s the First, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and money for girls’ education in underprivileged countries. I love the environment of Illinois because my peers, faculty, and college staff are supportive and encouraging.
