As a WIE Ambassador, I enjoy meeting prospective women engineering students and sharing with them the various opportunities that they can connect with so many amazing women all around them in The Grainger College of Engineering. I’m currently the President of Keramos (the honors society for MatSE), and part of my job is running the Freshman Mentorship Program for MatSE students. This has been so fun and rewarding for me, because not only have I gotten to know most of the freshmen, but I’ve been able to organize events that help them better get to know one another and create a community within MatSE.
