My interest in bioengineering stems from my love for design, anatomy, physiology, and biology. I actually was completely sold on studying bioengineering after listening to a Radiolab podcast about CRISPR-Cas9 (a tool for gene editing)! I am excited to be a WIE Ambassador because I love talking to prospective students and answering all their questions. I would have really appreciated having such a great resource when I was a senior making big decisions! In a few years I hope to be completing a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) and applying my engineering degree to health inequities in the nation and abroad.
