Sign up for a Luncheon or Virtual Meet and Greet

You’ll have a chance to talk to current students, get your questions answered, and learn more about the University of Illinois. There are multiple dates throughout March and April; follow the link below to see the schedule and register for an event.
Meet the WIE Ambassadors
Do you have questions about the University of Illinois that only current students can answer? Our WIE Ambassadors are here to help! See our current Ambassador team, who is available at our recruiting events to talk with you. Each ambassador has a unique path and perspective on how to be successful as a Grainger Engineering major.
Join us for WIE Orientation!
Make new friends, connect with WIE mentors, and learn all about life in the Grainger College of Engineering at WIE Orientation. Activities like meeting first-year students in your major, hearing from alumni and staff, and meeting mentors in your major are part of the schedule! The 2022 WIE First-Year Orientation is currently being finalized. Check back in late spring for more details!
Apply to be a GFX Scholar
The GFX Scholars program is a unique opportunity for first-year engineering students to form a community and explore their interests and passions. There are seven different scholar cohorts, each allowing you to explore areas such as leadership, research, sustainability, and so much more.
