I decided to major in ABE because I wanted to study something that involved both math and science. As I learned about this field, I grew more interested and the career path seemed like the right fit for me. I chose to transfer to Illinois because it has an amazing ABE program that encompasses both science and engineering in a very broad field. At Illinois, I love that I can take classes in other departments and explore how different engineering disciplines collaborate to solve problems. After graduation, I hope to work in industry and engineer sustainable products in agriculture.
