I chose to study CEE because I like building things, problem solving, and enjoy how hands-on the field is. We are dealing with real things in the environment that will affect real people every day. I am especially interested in water resources engineering and aspire to help develop solutions to some of the greatest environmental issues our world is facing including urban storm water flooding. Being a WIE Ambassador is exciting because I meet prospective Grainger Engineering women students and talk with them about my experiences at The Grainger College of Engineering. My favorite thing that I’ve been involved with on campus is Society of Women Engineers (SWE) because I have met many of my friends and have been able to get involved with various opportunities such as volunteering and networking through this club.
