Civil engineer Carole Tomlinson Forsberg graduated from Illinois in 1972. She was awarded the Bronze Tablet, which recognizes students in the top three percent of their graduating class, as well as the Ira O. Prize for outstanding students in CE.
Tomlinson, shown below, was the only female engineer recognized in her CE class.
